With musical upbringings ranging from Eminem’s „The Slim Shady“ LP to Greendays „Insomniac“ his sound is characterized by a variety of influences making it hard to put him into just one category.
After leaving Berlin to pursue happiness in Groningen, Netherlands, Young Leonard tied close bonds with the Northern Lights Hip-Hop collective. Two of their residents, Mumbay and A.D.K. will be featuring on the „Issues EP“. The five track record is composed and written in Montpellier, France, which Young Leonard was blessed to call home for a while. In his second studio EP he is telling tales of the life of a young man ranging from letting go of old lovers, experiencing the happiest days of his life, and simultaneously seeking for an own purpose
